One of the most important relationship issues during pregnancy is to remind your partner that you still find them attractive.  This is especially important if you find that your sex-drive has decreased.

It is perfectly normal for one or both partners to experience a decrease or increase in sex-drive.  You should definitely look into some books about pregnancy so that you can read up on sex during pregnancy.  Unless the pregnancy is high-risk, there’s absolutely nothing harmful about sex during the first eight months.  Only during the ninth month should you have to curtail your bedroom activities.

If you find that your sex-drive has taken a nosedive, you need to express to your partner that this has nothing to do with finding them unattractive.  Remind them often that the opposite is in fact true.  You still find them very attractive, but you just don’t have any sex-drive for some reason.  If the drive for sex has lessened, make sure you spend some quality time together.  Try cuddling while you both place your hands on her stomach to see if you can feel your baby (or babies if you’re having multiples!) move or kick.  Not only is it good for both of you, but it helps you feel a growing bond with your unborn child.
